Proud to Support Seaham’s Fitness Community

At East Coast Fitness, we believe fitness should be welcoming, supportive, and enjoyable — not intimidating or overwhelming. Since 2015, we’ve been proud to help people in Seaham and the surrounding areas get fitter, healthier, and more confident through expert coaching, fun group training, and a supportive community.

Our private gym and outdoor Boot Camp sessions are based at Seaham Marina, right by the coast. It’s a stunning spot with sea views, fresh air, and an atmosphere that makes you actually want to train. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to push your fitness to the next level, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Graham Low, and I set up East Coast Fitness because I wanted to create something different — a place where people feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for on their fitness journey.

I grew up in Sunderland and started out as a professional footballer, playing for Hartlepool United. Sadly, a knee injury cut my career short, but I always had a passion for fitness and helping others. After working in Dubai and at Seaham Hall’s Serenity Spa, I started running Boot Camps on Seaham sea front.

That’s where East Coast Fitness was born — just a few people training outdoors, building strength and confidence together. Since 2015, we’ve grown into a full fitness community, with a private gym, a full timetable of classes, and expert personal training, all right here at Seaham Marina.

I’m passionate about helping people become healthier, stronger, and happier — no matter where they’re starting from. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s progress, support, and feeling good inside and out.

Laura has been part of the East Coast Fitness community for over 7 years, starting as a PT client. Through her own journey, she’s built a strong foundation and understands what it takes to stay consistent.

She began her fitness journey in 2019 through running, alongside training at East Coast Fitness and Pilates, and has experienced the physical and mental benefits first hand.

As a busy mum of two who has run her own business, Laura understands how hard it can be to prioritise fitness. She’s passionate about helping people feel comfortable, included and confident when they train.

Her goal is simple — to help
